Eligibility, plainly stated

Eligibility summaries are written for Los Angeles County residents and reflect LA County Workforce Development Board policy under WIOA, including California's priority of service for veterans and eligible spouses, low-income adults, CalWORKs and CalFresh recipients, foster and former foster youth, justice-involved residents, and adults who are basic-skills deficient. Final determination is made by an AJCC career specialist at intake — the AI counselor pre-screens, assembles documentation, and books the appointment; it does not approve funding.
